In the third year of study, the students of the Army at the Army Institute, the military students have to study the division of the seven weapons skills, with only one major in each. This selection is based on the semester and end-of-year academic scores of each military student. Students with a number from 1 to 100 may have the opportunity to choose a major that they love, and in addition, depending on the number of majors that are not enough to be named as a student. In that, Mr. SAMBATH RAKSA chose to specialize in tanks skill with 39 students. After the specialization, all military students must continue their studies according to the schedule set by the institute. Gradually learning some of the basics also leads to a time that all military students are waiting for continuing their professional studies in the People’s Republic of China.
On April 29, 2019, Mr. SAMBATH RAKSA and his colleagues and teachers went to study in China. Getting there is under the auspices of the Chinese government, including accommodation, food, training and a decent salary. The study there is very different, there are two big factors : climate and language. As for the weather, of course, there is a difference between hot and cold Cambodia, so students may have some health effects as long as they are accustomed to the weather there. Language is the most difficult issue, sometimes the translation can not fully understand the meaning that the teacher explained, sometimes confusing, so all students have to try their best to get the knowledge from the teacher who has Experience. Tank skills are taught many lessons, such as: machine learning, driving, telecommunication , shooting, tactics, secretions. What is most interesting is the shooting, driving and tactics that make each student more interested in this skill. The study also has a scoring test for each lesson so that at the end of the course, you can receive a certificate of appreciation and a graduation certificate. Certificates of commendation were given to 10 outstanding students and Mr. SAMBATH RAKSA was ranked 4th. In addition to studying, do not forget to take students on study tours to learn about the history, civilization, culture, lifestyle, religion …. After the tour, all military students will be ready to close the course to return home. On October 31, 2019, the study was completed and the Cambodian student representatives also thanked the Chinese tank academy and Government for providing accommodation and food in the past and apologized for any mistakes.
