The company revealed that it has secured a significant contract from the Ministry of Railways for the manufacturing and supply of 4,000 BOXNS wagons, valued at Rs 1,617 crore.
Jupiter Wagons, a provider of comprehensive mobility solutions spanning rail, road, and marine transportation, expressed its commitment to delivering high-quality railway solutions through this contract. The order specifically involves the production of 4,000 BOXNS wagons, categorized as BG Bogie Open Wagon type. These wagons feature an axle load capacity of 25 tons, ensuring robust performance across diverse freight conditions. With a maximum speed of 86 kmph when empty and 45 kmph when loaded, these wagons prioritize efficiency and safety in transit.
As of the latest available data, Jupiter Wagons commands a market capitalization of Rs 13,570.64 crore. Despite a 4.51% decline on Thursday, settling at Rs 329.15 on BSE, the stock has demonstrated significant growth, rising by 242% in 2023 and 271% in the past year.
